What up fam! This week was one for the books. Bardstown is seriously blessed. This week we found 17 new investigators! Craziness! We have been trying to find as many people to teach as possible and things have been working great! So many people are willing to listen to what we have to say. It is awesome! The branch is just amazing. They are so happy to have sister missionaries so they love having us over for lessons and for dinners. Bless up. Every week we do service at a Catholic school with random tasks that they have for us. This last week all the employees asked us what we do as missionaries and what we believe in. So we had to chance to share a little bit about our beliefs and why we do the things we do. Everyone seemed to be really interested in what we had to say. Afterwards one of the ladies asked if we could go over to her house for dinner and talk with her and her daughter more about what we believe. It was so cool! We are getting in with the Catholics! Oh two things you need to know about Bardstown. 1. Everyone is Catholic 2. It's the Bourbon capitol of the world So it's really hard to teach people who were raised Catholic but we seem to be finding the prepared people here! And it always smells like Bourbon. Always. We live pretty close to a Bourbon distillery so it covers the entire town. When it's super humid you feel like you're swimming in Bourbon. It smells pretty bad but we manage. Hopefully one day I will be nose blind to it. Yesterday at church our investigator Angie bore her testimony and testified that she knew that this is the true church. She is so solid it's great! I love her to death. When she sat back down she started having a seizure and so we had to catch her and lay her down on her side. She's prone to seizures so luckily this one wasn't too bad. That's about it for this week! Gospel love, Sister Harris 1. Sister Snow! 2. Wendy's is life 3. Fidget spinners are life 4. We found an etch a sketch |
